Award winning building main contractor have an opening for a Commerical Manager with over 10 years’ experience working for a main contractor. This role will have you working on Projects from £20M - £100m+. Depending on the level of experience you bring you may be overseeing a few projects.
Great opportunity to work on some of London’s largest projects.
With projects all over London this contractor has established itself within the industry and you will be undertaking major projects and provided the tools and training for further development.
The project you will be overseeing the Senior Quantity Surveyor on a large residential project with an expected completion time of 2 years.
This role is site and office based, and you will have the opportunity first hand to build relationships with the site staff and have an overall detailed perspective into all the running's of the project.
The Role:
- Tender pricing and take off
- Commercial management of projects
- Monthly valuation preparation
- Cost control of projects
- Procurement & placement of bespoke material costs
- Relationship building with subcontractors, design team, and suppliers
The Criteria:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or Equivalent
- 10 years experience
- Main Contracting experience is essential
- Proficient with IT Packages
- Excellent communication skills and team ethos
- Driver License
