The Company

Exciting opportunity has opened up with a telecommunications provider investing £100 million to provide fibre broadband throughout Norther Ireland. This company is helping NI make the switch to full fibre optic cable and is paving the way of the future with telecommunications.

This role will give you the responsibility for developing the companies network expansion strategy in NI.  If you are results driven, team player, and committed to investing in your career development and progression.

The Role

  • Work to establish the business case for investment in new network deployment in areas adjacent to the company’s existing network
  • Identify network growth opportunities to maximise network reach whilst maintaining target return on investment
  • Provide executable commercial propositions using available funding and targeting areas of high demand to meet the business case parameters.
  • Work across the organisation to draw on existing modelling, technical design, and build resources.
  • Develop a business unit that will design and execute the business plan and identify the additional headcount requirement that will work to deliver the project.
  • Take the lead in co-ordinating Bid and Solutions for on any future intervention planned by the government in the identified areas.


  • 3+ years of experience developing commercial network propositions
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Proactive/hard working/ analytical and critical thinker.
  • Ability to articulate positions and resolve contractual issues disputes


  • 3rd level education in a relevant field preferred
  • Experience in telecoms or infrastructure related projects
  • Experience of working public funded programmes
