Inform3 are recruiting for a Construction Manager to work on civils/road projects for a large residential project in North Dublin.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a construction manager to join a busy top tier contractor working on large residential projects across Dublin.

Construction Manager Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the timely and budget-compliant delivery of assigned projects by effectively managing all aspects related to risks, contracts, operations, and communications.
  • Oversee performance and budgets, ensuring they are well-coordinated and aligned with the agreed contract program.
  • Manage the design team to deliver best-value, buildable solutions while maintaining program expectations from planning to completion.
  • Provide clear leadership and direction to site teams, including both direct employees and subcontractors.
  • Address and resolve any escalated technical difficulties or other issues that arise.
  • Plan and budget material, plant, and labour resources, implementing forward planning strategies.
  • Oversee costing and billing to ensure the project remains within budget.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and legal obligations for safe construction at all times.
  • Supervise the successful completion of all civil works on-site.
  • Produce high-quality technical calculations using current computer software.
  • Recommend and prepare technical papers.
  • Assist the Quantity Surveyor with site quantities and measurements for monthly valuations.
  • Report weekly and monthly data and information to site teams, key stakeholders, and partners.
  • Assist the site delivery team in maintaining project documentation and trackers.

 

Construction Manager Required Qualifications/Experience:

  • 8 years’ plus civils experience in a similar role, ideally with road experience
  • Experience in managing site teams
  • Proven track record of successful project delivery
  • Confident in the use of Microsoft Office
  • Full Driving License
