Construction Manager – Europe

 

INFORM3 are looking to appoint a Construction Manager, for a large civil project in Sweden. The client has over 15 years’ experience in Civil Engineering industry and is continually growing within the construction sector.

The successful candidate will need to be confident in managing civil teams and working on utility, roads, groundworks and earthworks projects.

 

Construction Manager Key Responsibilities:

  • Report in Senior Management
  • Ensue the site complies with the Project Plan
  • Ensure the site is a safe place to work
  • Oversee Direct and Sub-Contractor teams, coordinate daily with the teams regarding their duties
  • Complete on a regular basis the site diary, allocation sheets, time sheets, record of labour, progress report sheets, plant returns, material returns and local site purchase sheets.
  • Manage and plan all Plant, Machinery and Equipment
  • To ensure safe working practices are adhered to, as outlined in method statements and risk assessments
  • To attend sub contractors’ meetings and site staff meetings.
  • Complete regular reports on pass onto Senior Management
  • Complete Toolbox talks and Health & Safety Briefings
  • Liaise with the client
  • Complete any other duties as and when required

 

Construction Manager Required Qualifications/Experience:

  • 5 years’ plus experience in a similar role
  • Experience in managing civils site teams
  • Proven track record of successful project delivery
  • Experience in general civils work including groundworks, utilities, roads and earthworks
  • Experience in heavy plant operations – desirable, not essential
  • Confident in the use of Microsoft Office
  • Full Driving License
