The Company

  • Specialist subcontractor based in Newry with projects in Northern Ireland and the UK.
  • Working across a variety of sectors such as industrial, residential, commercial, health and commercial.
  • The Office Manager role will take on the responsibility for the operations of all administrative activities within the office and effectively manage the office staff.
  • You will be a quick thinker and eager to expand your knowledge into different aspects of the running of the business and produce a high level of productivity from your team.
  • The salary offered will be reflective of the experience of the candidate.


The Role

  • Support various teams with their administration and organisation
  • Effective smooth running of the office activities
  • Support Senior Management in their day-to-day tasks
  • Establish relationships with clients and suppliers.
  • Implement and maintain procedures/office administrative systems
  • Record office expenditure and manage the budget
  • Delegate work to staff and manage their workload and output
  • Promote staff development and training
  • Implement and promote equality and diversity policy


What you need

  • Third level qualification is desirable but not essential
  • 3+ years’ experience in a similar role
  • Experience working in Construction
  • Proficient in Microsoft excel and project
  • Good time management skills
  • Attention to detail and professionalism.
  • Excellent management and organisational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
