Construction Site Manager - Dublin

Job Title – Site Manager

Project – Healthcare Project

Job Location – South West Dublin

Salary – €60K-€70K

About the Company

Busy Tier 2 Contractor with over 70 years’ experience in both the commercial and residential building sectors, are currently recruiting a Site Manager for large healthcare project in South West Dublin. The project is of fast track, modular build and is already underway. The successful candidate will be working with a Project Manager and strong team of engineers.

The Role

• Coordination and supervision of the construction of a commercial development.
• Oversee Commercial projects and manage manpower on site including, direct staff and subcontractors over multiple sites.
• Managing sub-contractors and personnel on site ensuring that all persons on site adhere to company policy and H&S legislation.
• Motivate a team to complete the project on time and in budget.
• Supervise works on site and ensure the quality of works and that they are done on time and in budget.
• Plan and coordinate the daily requirements of the site including labour, procurement of materials and meeting deadlines.
• Perform company compliance, H&S and administration procedure and record performance and progress of site operations.

Requirements

• A Degree in Construction Management or similar.
• A minimum of 5 years proven experience as a Site Manager.
• Engineering background is desirable.
• Experience working on healthcare projects is essential for this role.
• Ability to effectively manage site programme and associated schedules to required deadlines.
• Strong I.T skills are essential. (Microsoft Suite including Project)
