Contracts Manager – Bournemouth

 

 

INFORM3 are currently recruiting a Contracts Manager for large civil projects based in Bournemouth. The client has over 40 years in the Civil Engineering Industry and has a great depth of expertise within their team. The client believes that hard work should always be at the front of all work and they value commitment and determination.

The successful candidate will need to have a vast amount experience in managing a number of Civil projects and have great knowledge in HDD and heavy civils (Utilities).

 

Contracts Manager Responsibilities:

 

  • Report to the Directors
  • Ensure work is delegated effectively to Project Managers and the Senior Management Teams
  • Monitor site works and ensure they are completed safely, on time and to the highest standard
  • Produce accurate, consistent and professional records, reports and general information
  • Manage multiple civil projects
  • Ensure all processes are following to the project plan specifications
  • Ensuring that end product meet the client’s expectation in relation to build and finish
  • Attend client meetings and be the point of contact for any queries for the client
  • Continuously promote a high standard of health & safety
  • Reports on job progress
  • Complete any other duties as and when required

 

 

Contracts Manager Requirements:

 

  • Civil Engineer or Construction Background
  • Extensive Civil Engineering Experience
  • Ability to supervise numerous projects
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Self-motivated and hard worker
  • Analytical and decision-making skills
  • Technical and practical knowledge of the Civil Engineering Industry
  • Strong budgeting and financial management skills
  • Hold/be trained in CSCS Card, Relevant Site Management Tickets, SMSTS Training and First Aid
  • Full understanding of current Health & Safety legislation and regulation
  • Experience in HDD
  • Full Driving License
