Rightpath Construction Recruitment has an exciting new opportunity for a Contracts Manager to join a reputable Northern Irish Building Contractor, with an annual turnover of £25M. Due to increased confidence in the market and their order book already full for the next 3 years they have the requirement. The Contracts Manager is required to oversee 3 Residential schemes in Armagh, Louth and Dublin valued close to £8M. Mixture of Apartments and Housing. Market leading salary, company car or van and highly attractive bonus structure.

Contracts Manager Responsibilities:

  • Ability to deliver projects on time and to perfection
  • Produce accurate, consistent and professional records, reports and general information
  • To carry out the role of company representation on site and to interface between the company and client
  • Manage and motivate site teams
  • Conduct Risk Assessments
  • Ensure all processes are being adhered to on a project by project basis
  • Ensuring that end product meets customer's expectation in relation to build and finish
  • Organise and coordinate labour from smaller to large projects
  • Produce reports on job progress
  • Reporting to Construction Director
  • All Health & Safety and other regulatory matters

Contracts Manager Requirements:

  • Previous £3M+ project experience
  • Ability to supervise numerous projects
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Self-motivated and hard worker
  • Strong team building skills
  • Analytical and decision-making skills
  • Technical and practical knowledge of the building industry important
  • Advance knowledge of MS Office, Excel, Powerpoint and industry specific software
  • Strong budgeting and financial management skills
  • Excellent written and oral presentation skills
