Contracts Manager – Northern Ireland

 

INFORM3 are currently recruiting a Contracts Manager for projects based in Northern Ireland. The client has over 25 years in the Civil Engineering Industry and has a great depth of expertise within their team. The client believes that hard work should always be at the front of all work and they value commitment and determination. The successful candidate will be experienced in managing civil projects particularly utilities, drainage and groundworks.

 

Contracts Manager Responsibilities:

  • Report regularly to Senior Management and the Directors
  • Ensure each project is being run as to the specified Project Plan
  • Manage direct staff and sub-contractors
  • Ensure the Site Managements team provide regular updates and are on schedule and within budget
  • Conduct regular meetings with Site Management and ensure that all site reports are processed
  • Be the point of contact for the Client making sure that all their requirements are exceeded
  • Maintain a high level of Health and Safety on each project and a top level of quality workmanship
  • Maintain a successful line of communication to Site Management making sure that all tasks are communicated correctly
  • Attend individual site meetings with the wider site team, addressing any issues or problems

 

Contracts Manager Requirements:

  • Civil Engineering or Construction Management Degree
  • Able to multi-task effectively, managing several projects and teams
  • Able to work individually and within a team
  • Extremely motivated and hardworking
  • Expert analytical and decision-making skills
  • Technical and practical knowledge of the Civil Engineering industry
  • Full understanding of current Health & Safety legislation and regulation
  • Confident in the use of Microsoft Office
  • Full Driving License
