Contracts Manager – Dublin

 

INFORM3 are currently recruiting a Contracts Manager for several road projects in Dublin and across Ireland. The client has over 15 years in the Civil Engineering Industry and has a great depth of expertise within their team. The client is seeking a Contracts Manager with previous experience in managing civil teams and fantastic knowledge of road projects.

The successful candidate will need to be flexible in travel.

 

Contracts Manager Responsibilities:

  • Report regularly to the Directors
  • Ensure each project is line with the Project Plan
  • Liaise with each Site Team for regular reports
  • Ensure each project is on track to meet deadlines and within budget
  • Conduct site visits, checking on workmanship to ensure it meets with quality standards
  • Ensure each project is adhering to current Health & Safety regulations and procedures
  • Attend meetings with Directors and Senior Site Management
  • Liaise with clients and local authorities
  • Ensuring that the project meets the client’s expectation
  • Be the first point of contact for the client
  • Conduct site meetings with the wider site team
  • Plan and Coordinate Staff, Plant and Equipment

 

Contracts Manager Requirements:

  • Civil Engineer or Construction Management Background / Degree
  • 5 years’ plus relevant experience
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Self-motivated and hard worker
  • Strong team building skills
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills
  • Technical and practical knowledge of the Civil Engineering industry
  • Full understanding of current Health & Safety legislation and regulation
  • Full Clean Driving License
