Contracts Manager – Dublin
INFORM3 are seeking to appoint a Contracts Manager for a number of projects across the Dublin area. The successful candidate will work on behalf of a fantastic Civil Engineering Contractor that is extremely busy and continually growing. The candidate will need to have a lot of experience with managing Civil projects and managing various Site Teams.
 
Contracts Manager Responsibilities:
  • Report regularly to the Directors
  • Develop new and existing relationships with clients
  • Plan various Projects, managing each individual project from conception to completion
  • Select sub-contractors and regularly communicate with them regarding job requirements
  • Coordinate with Site Management the various duties and tasks needing to be completed
  • Visit sites regularly completing site inspections, paying particular attention to quality and health & safety
  • Ensure each project is on time and within budget
  • Produce accurate, consistent and professional records, reports and general information
  • Meet regularly with the Client ensuring that all of their requirements are met and exceeded
  • Meet with Consultancies and the Public when necessary
  • Attend Senior Management meetings discussing site progress
  • Handle emergency situations
 
Contracts Manager Requirements:
  • Civil Engineering or Construction Management Degree
  • 10 years plus experience
  • Confident in managing several projects and site teams
  • Excellent Communicator and Extremely organised
  • Highly motivated
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent Analytical and decision-making skills
  • Technical and practical knowledge of the Civil Engineering industry
  • Strong budgeting and financial management skills
  • Full understanding of current Health & Safety legislation and regulation
  • Full Driving License
