Contracts Manager – Northern Ireland

INFORM3 are currently recruiting a Contracts Manager for a variety of roads, surfacing and civil projects in Northern Ireland. The client has over 25 years in the Civil Engineering Industry and has a great depth of expertise within their team. The client believes that hard work should always be at the front of all work and they value commitment and determination. The successful candidate will be hard working, experienced in managing civil teams and committed to meeting targets.

 

Contracts Manager Responsibilities:

  • Report regularly to the Senior Management Team and Directors
  • Create Project Plans
  • Ensure each project is being run as to the specified Project Plan
  • Manage direct staff and sub-contractors
  • Meet with Site Management teams, gather updates on site progress
  • Conduct meetings with Site Management and various site teams discussing any specific requirements or any major obstacles
  • Meet regularly with the client and be the point of contact for them
  • Ensure all Client requirements are exceeded
  • Maintain a high level of Health and Safety on each project and a top level of quality workmanship
  • Maintain a successful line of communication to Site Management making sure that all tasks are communicated correctly
  • Attend Senior Management Meetings

 

Contracts Manager Requirements:

  • Civil Engineering or Construction Management Degree
  • Able to multi-task effectively, managing several projects and teams
  • Able to work individually and within a team
  • Extremely motivated and hardworking
  • Expert analytical and decision-making skills
  • Technical and practical knowledge of the Civil Engineering industry
  • Full understanding of current Health & Safety legislation and regulation
  • Confident in the use of Microsoft Office
  • Full Driving License
