Contracts Manager - Kildare

Inform3 are recruiting for a reputable Company with a focus on contracts in the commercial sector but has also worked on projects for the education, leisure and healthcare sectors. Award winning Tier 2 company with a focus on equal employment and a turnover of €50m. Would typically work on projects worth €1m-€16m. One of these projects is for the education sector and is valued at €9m. The role will be based in Kildare and the Midlands.

Job Title: Contracts Manager

Job Location: Kildare & Midlands

Salary: €95k - €105k

The Role

• Liaise with the Projects Managers and Director
• Management of all aspects of construction works for individual and/or multiple projects
• Good understanding of construction technology, sufficient to carry out quality inspections and reports and support site team
• Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, building regulations and good building practice
• Co-ordinate construction projects to meet programme, budget & specification.
• Manage and direct site staff and all subcontractors
• Manage and control project budget ensuring profitability of the project and report on any deviation from commercial plan
• Organising the various professional teams working on a project
• Chair Progress meetings with Directors

Job Requirements

• Background in Construction Management or anything of the same discipline
• At least 5 years of experience
• Good IT skills e.g., able to use Microsoft products
• Good problem-solving skills and being able to think quickly
• Leadership and Communication skills
• Proven experience of efficiently planning and completing projects from tender stage to completion.
