 Contracts Manager – Meath

 

INFORM3 are currently recruiting a Contracts Manager for civil engineering projects in Meath.

The successful candidate will manage a range of projects (up to 10) across Meath. The bulk of the work carried out is for Government backed projects, including; infrastructure, drainage, utilities, roads 7 public realm works.

The client believes that hard work should always be at the front of all work and they value commitment and determination.

The successful candidate will be an extremely confident & organised individual with previous experience in managing civil engineering projects.

 

Contracts Manager Responsibilities:

  • Liaise and report into the Directors
  • Establish Project Programmes for each site
  • Delegate work to Project Managers providing support when appropriate
  • Meet regularly with management teams across each site
  • Ensure each site is aligned with health & safety
  • Inspect quality of works throughout each site
  • Hold on site meetings when appropriate
  • Be the point of contact for the client
  • Respond to the client’s requirements, ensuring to go above and beyond their expectations
  • Ensure all site paperwork is collated, reviewed and actioned
  • Conduct management meetings discussing progress

 

Contracts Manager Requirements:

  • Civil Engineer or Construction Management Degree
  • Extensive management experience
  • 8 years or more in a senior management position
  • Exceptional eye for detail
  • Ability to lead and motivate
  • Extremely organised and motivated to succeed
  • Excellent analytical and decision-making skills
  • Technical and practical knowledge of the construction industry
  • Full understanding of current Health & Safety legislation and regulation
  • Full Driving License
