Job Title – Contracts Manager (Construction) 

Project – €15M - €50M + Commercial + Educational

Job Location – Greater Dublin & Leinster

Salary – €120K plus + travel

About the Company

My client is a progressive Contractor who specialise in specialise in Design & Build Development and Construction.

 This role would suit an Experienced Contracts Manager who has managed projects valued over €15M from early tender and preconstruction stages through to onsite delivery and handover.

Projects range across multiple industry sectors – , educational, healthcare, sport and leisure.

The Role

• Coordinate and monitor and review construction drawings, specifications and work requirements.
• Assist in tender submittals and design approval.
• Oversee a portfolio of commercial developments across the Greater Dublin region.
• Liaise with the design team to ensure works are completed according to the programme.
• Report to and support the Contracts Director and Construction Director to ensure smooth completion of projects.  
• Monitor and manage project budget.
• Direct and Manage personnel, site staff and subcontractors and manage and coordinate weekly progress meetings, workshops and plan actions.
• Monitor construction to ensure quality of work and coordinate and liaise with Projects Manager, Site Engineers and Service Coordinators to ensure all personnel have accurate and timely information.

Requirements

• Degree in Construction Management or similar (Third level qualification) is essential.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Contracts Manager with a Main Contractor or Property Developer in Ireland or the UK.
• Proven record of overseeing projects valued over €5M from inception to completion.
• Background in engineering is desirable.
• Ability to effectively manage site programme and associated schedules to required deadlines and update the programme when necessary.
• Experience managing multiple subcontractors at a time.
• Thorough knowledge of computer and database applications such as Microsoft Office and Project/PowerPoint with Excellent IT skills and good digital and visual presentational skills.
