Contracts/Operations Manager
Location: Down with UK travel

Inform3 are seeking an experienced and driven Contracts Manager to oversee a commercial building and civil engineering project in England, while being primarily based in County Down.

You will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate to join an experienced team, who is ambitious and eager to lead a team from the front to succession.

Contracts Manager Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of multiple commercial construction and civils projects from pre-construction through to completion.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure project objectives are achieved.
  • Coordinate project teams across multiple disciplines (design, procurement, site management, QS, etc.).
  • Monitor and manage project progress, budgets, cash flow, and risk.
  • Ensure all works comply with health & safety regulations and company policies.
  • Travel regularly to project sites across England (e.g., 2–3 days per week as required).
  • Report directly to the Operations Director / Senior Management Team.
  • Lead project reviews and performance reporting.
  • Assist with tendering and procurement strategy where required.
  • Ensure contractual compliance across all project stages.

Contracts Manager Requirements:

  • Civil Engineering or Construction Management Degree
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar Contracts Manager or Senior Project Manager role.
  • Operational and managerial experience
  • Good negation skills
  • Flexible
  • Able to multi-task and work to deadlines
  • Able to work individually and manage several civil teams
  • Extremely motivated and hardworking
  • Expert analytical and decision-making skills
  • Technical and practical knowledge of the Civil Engineering industry
  • Full understanding of current Health & Safety legislation and regulation
  • Confident in the use of Microsoft Office
  • Full Driving License and willingness to travel to project locations in England.
