Contracts Manager – Dublin

 

INFORM3 are currently recruiting a Contracts Manager for a number of large projects in Dublin. The client has extensive knowledge, skills and experience within the Civil Engineering Industry and has a fantastic team producing high quality work. The client takes pride in their work and has received numerous awards and is highly recommended amongst their own clients.

The successful candidate must come from a Civil Engineering background and have a number of years’ experience in managing several projects from conception to completion.

 

Contracts Manager Responsibilities:

  • Report regularly to the Directors
  • Manage projects continuously, ensuring they are on schedule and within budget
  • Regularly check that works are completed safely and to the highest standard
  • Produce accurate, consistent and professional records, reports and general information
  • Motivate staff, ensuring they are effective and efficient
  • Ensure all processes are being adhered to on a project-by-project basis
  • Ensuring that works on each project is aligned with the client’s expectation in relation to build and finish
  • Be the first point of contact for the client
  • Attend site and client meetings
  • Promote a high standard of Health & Safety
  • Complete any other relevant duties

 

Contracts Manager Requirements:

  • Civil Engineering or Construction Management Background
  • 5 - 10 years’ plus management experience
  • Able to work off on initiative leading teams and effectively communicating within a team
  • Able to coordinate and manage multiple projects
  • Strong team building skills
  • Analytical and decision-making skills
  • Technical and practical knowledge of the Civil Engineering industry
  • Strong budgeting and financial management skills
  • Hold/be trained in CSCS Card, Relevant Site Management Tickets, SMSTS Training and First Aid
  • Full understanding of current Health & Safety legislation and regulation
  • Full Driving License
