Job Title – Contracts Manager

Project – Scaffolding

Job Location – Leinster Area  

Salary – €70K - €85K + Package    

 

About the Company

Working with a leading Main Contractor with a reputation for delivering interesting commercial and residential projects across the Leinster Region.   

They now have a new potion for a Contracts Manager (Scaffolding) to keep up with increased workload and genuine business growth.

They are particularly keen to chat to someone who comes from a scaffolding/ trades background and has worked on high rise/ high volume developments running large gangs.

 

The Role

  • Successfully manage the delivery of large scaffolding projects across the Leinster Region.
  • Develop, update and monitor the design, programme and construction of scaffolding.
  • Coordinate and monitor and review construction drawings, specifications and work requirements.
  • Work along the design team to plan works for new projects.
  • Assist with recruitment of staff to ensure successful delivery of projects.
  • Report to and support the Construction Director, Architect, Commercial Team and Clients.
  • Direct and Manage personnel, site staff and subcontractors and manage and coordinate weekly progress meetings, workshops and plan actions.
  • Work closely with H&S Team to ensure high standards are set and met on site.
  • Monitor construction to ensure quality of work and coordinate and liaise with Project Manager, Site Engineers and Service Coordinators to ensure all personnel have accurate and timely information.
  • Oversee multiple projects at a time.

 

Requirements

  • Degree in Construction Management or similar (Third level qualification) is essential.
  • Scaffolding background
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Contracts Manager/ Senior Project Manager/ Director
  • Must have worked on large projects in the Leinster region.
  • Ability to effectively manage site programme and associated schedules to required deadlines.
  • Experience managing multiple projects at a time.
  • Thorough knowledge of computer and database applications such as Microsoft Office and Project/PowerPoint with Excellent IT skills and good digital and visual presentational skills.
