Contracts Supervisor / Manager
INFORM3 have been exclusivity retained to source a Contracts Manager / Contracts Supervisor for a small civil engineering contractor based in Co Donegal.
There will be no travel outside Donegal with this role!!!
This role could suit an engineer with a few years experience looking to stay local or someone from a trade background ie a foreman that is looking an opportunity to move into contracts management
Key responsibilities
- Manage contracts (Short term and long term) and ensuring work is completed in accordance with the necessary specifications and programming the works throughout.
- Price for New work and maintain quotations register.
- Liaise with clients throughout works, agree final accounts and follow through to obtaining payments.
- Manage and control costs throughout works and liaise with suppliers.
- Organize and manage plant resources including liaising with maintenance team.
- Organize and manage employee resources ranging from giving toolbox talks to carrying out disciplinary procedures.
- Organize and manage subcontractors including processing invoices for payment.
- Carrying out risk assessments and ensuring health and safety procedures are maintained throughout works.
Knowledge, skills and experience needed:
- Strong technical knowledge of construction techniques.
- Good numerical skills
- Good IT and software operation skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Be able to run multiple sites
