Contracts Supervisor NIE
Job Location: Tyrone/NI

Inform3 are currently recruiting for a Contracts Supervisor NIE to cover NI. They will be responsible for supervising and managing the day-to-day execution of civil engineering contracts ensuring that works are performed to specification, on time, on budget, and comply with health & safety, environmental, quality, and contractual requirements.

The successful candidate will have high attention to detail and accuracy with a qualification in B3X.


Contracts Supervisor NIE Responsibilities:

  • Interpret contract documents, enforce terms on site, and manage variations, change control, and commercial claims.
  • Oversee subcontractor engagement and ensure contractual compliance.
  • Support programme development, allocate resources, and monitor progress with corrective actions where needed.
  • Track costs against budget, validate claims and variations, prepare invoices, and manage cash flow/WIP risk.
  • Conduct site inspections, ensure compliance with specifications and regulations, and manage QA/testing and handover documentation.
  • Promote and enforce HSE standards, support risk assessments and safety briefings, ensure CDM compliance, and monitor environmental impacts.
  • Lead and supervise site teams and subcontractors, providing coaching and managing performance.
  • Liaise with clients, authorities, suppliers, and represent the company in meetings.
  • Prepare progress, cost, and risk reports, and maintain accurate records, correspondence, and commercial documentation

 

Contracts Supervisor NIE Specification:

  • Relevant experience in construction / civil engineering contract roles.
  • B3X qualification/experience essential 
  • Strong commercial awareness, with experience managing budgets, claims, and subcontractors.
  • Good understanding of health & safety regulations (CDM), quality control, and site compliance.
  • Proven ability to plan and programme works, and to resource manage for large contracts.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and project management / commercial software.
  • Leadership experience with on-site teams / subcontractors.
