About the Company:
A leading Manufacturing Company based in Dungannon are looking for a Customer Account Manager to join their business. They are looking for a self-motivated individual with good communication skills to jump on board and work in a team environment in order to aid the business in achieving their ambitious goals.
Job Description:
Within this role you will maintain a good relationship with customers, by understanding their requirements and ensuring these are served from enquiry, receipt of purchase order, delivery of their goods to the resolution of any concerns they may have.
Responsibilities of the Role:
- Manage allocated customer accounts as the main point of contact, developing strong relationships and understanding customer requirements.
- Process and manage customer orders from receipt through to delivery, ensuring all relevant commercial and technical information is accurately communicated to the appropriate internal teams.
- Coordinate with Production, Purchasing and other internal departments to ensure customer requirements, priorities and technical specifications are understood and orders remain on schedule.
- Monitor order progress and delivery schedules, proactively communicating updates, changes or potential delays to customers and escalating urgent requirements where necessary.
- Coordinate customer deliveries and logistics, working with Despatch and approved transport providers to ensure orders are delivered accurately, on time and in accordance with customer requirements.
- Manage customer queries and concerns, working with relevant internal teams to resolve issues promptly and keeping customers informed through to resolution.
- Monitor customer service performance, including on-time delivery, identifying risks and supporting improvements to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Support continuous improvement and company compliance, contributing to Lean initiatives and following relevant company policies, procedures and health & safety requirements.
Experience and Knowledge:
- At least 2 years customer service experience.
- Demonstrated ability to form and maintain work partnerships with customers.
- Good level of secondary education including
- 5 passes at GCSE level A – D including Maths and English or equivalent
- Experience in the despatch and distribution of goods.
- Engineering industry experience (desirable).
- Strong organisational, planning & time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to make decisions and use own initiative.
- Strong IT skills.
