Design Engineer Co. Louth €60-70K
Are you looking for a new role as a Design Engineer? Then this is the role for you! INFORM3 are currently recruiting for an experienced candidate that has strong knowledge and understanding of Electrical Design Software’s Eplan and Etap.
In this role you will be coordinating with the client, analysis of all design documentation and identification of any scope gaps and developing the electrical plans and specifications for the projects.

Duties Include:
- Performing electrical calculations for electrical systems.
- Providing cable schedule and specification.
- Performing design tasks including lighting layouts, communications, fire alarm, and security systems.
- Prepare and modify equipment detail specifications.
- Review/coordinate/verify switchboard configurations.
- Preparation of General Arrangement drawing, Single Line Diagram, Panel layouts, Front Views, Bill of Materials and Schematic Drawings for Switchboards / Distribution Box, Enclosure, compartmentation
- Develop procedures and standards for hand-off to Manufacturing operations for operating and maintaining systems to include standard work instructions, compliance control plans, and standard O&M procedures and documentation.
- Review the electrical installation with the operations team to ensure the design is constructible and that there is adequate space for installation and maintenance of all equipment and cabling.
- Liaise with the design team & supply chain to ensure the correct operation of the project on-site & successful handover
Criteria Required:
- 4+ years’ experience and degree equivalent in Electrical Engineer.
- Proficiency in designing the low-voltage distribution system, switchboards (MDB / SDB) and DC systems.
- Experience with CAD design software AutoCAD.
- Experience with electrical design software Eplan and Etap.
- Proficiency with electrical design software including Siemens, Schneider etc.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, constructive questioning and decision-making ability.
- Ability to work on your own and in a team environment.
- Excellent Verbal & Non-Verbal Communication Skills.
