Design Engineer (Refrigeration) County Armagh £25-40k
Our client based in County Armagh has an immediate requirement to recruit a Design Engineer with practical experience designing complete refrigeration systems from initial contact through to delivery.
You will be joining a multi-disciplined team working on a variety of challenging and diverse projects where no two days will be the same.
Responsibilities
- Design and supervise refrigeration projects
- Prepare sketch and scheme designs, drawings, specifications and tender documentation
- Attend site progress meetings and inspection of installation works
- Preparation of condition reports and preparation of project cost plans and estimates.
Requirements
- 2+years designing Refrigeration Systems
- A good theoretical knowledge of refrigerant cycles
- Knowledge of F-GAS standards and certifications
- Competency with system design software
- Experience of selecting components, such as compressors, expansion valves and heat exchangers
- Comfortable liaising with technical and non-technical clients
