Design Manager - Monaghan

Design Manager               Monaghan          €50-70k

Our client based in County Monaghan has an immediate requirement to recruit a Design Manager who is able to oversee a portfolio of projects.

To be successful in the role you will have a background in Design/Architecture, excellent Project Management/client management skills and with a good understanding of the project lifecycle of residential builds.

The Role

• Managing residential projects from concept to delivery
• Oversee a small design team
• Ability to head design meetings, writing reports and giving presentations
• Lead and organise design to suit project requirements
• Review key materials and interfaces to ensure they are fit for purpose and provide long-term durable solutions
• Review tender drawings
• Contribute to the compilation of the project handover documentation
• Development and chief design programmes ensuring correct legislation, standards and codes of practice are met

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years performing in a similar role
• Background in Architecture/Design comfortable acting as the point of contact
• Experience with Design & Build process in the residential sector
• Excellent Project Management skills
• Strong knowledge and understanding of current building regulations.
