Design Manager - Cavan

Design Manager               Cavan                    €60-75k

INFORM3 is recruiting for a Design Manager for an expanding construction company based in County Cavan who work on major Commercial, Residential and Education projects nationwide.

The main focus of this role is to work with clients, stakeholders and external consultancies to ensure that all designs are fit for purpose and proactively contribute towards the growth of the company’s design capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Taking responsibility for the design coordination of projects
• Ensuring technical excellence across projects and opportunities from pre-project through to detailed delivery
• Auditing the designs and identifying inconsistencies, discrepancies and missing information as well as recording, reporting and tracking
• Managing the production and control of the design programme
• Reviewing the development of designs regularly alongside the stakeholders to ensure projects are aligned
• Managing the production and approval of samples, mock-ups and quality benchmarks

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years or experience performing in a similar capacity within construction or architecture
• Degree Certification in a relevant subject highly desirable
• Knowledgeable in current building regulations and H&S legislation
• A passion for design, a commitment to excellence and a focus on continuous improvement on both a personal and divisional level
• Background in design and still hands on when required
• A high level of attention to detail and the ability to stay focused
• Excellent organisational skills able to prioritise your own work, deliver on time and delegate effectively
