Design Manager-Tyrone
INFORM3 Recruitment has an excellent opportunity for a Design Manager to work long term in Northern Ireland.
As a Design manager you will have proven track record of working on design elements of delivery for large schemes up to £65M+. The successful candidate will have experience working for leading main building contractors with an excellent design project portfolio.
Responsibilities:
- Understanding client requirements
- Ensure design, procurement and construction information complies with project documentation
- Design output review, meeting key compliance criteria with client specifications
- Monthly reporting
- Defining consultant valuations and authorisation of payments
- Defining designer's objectives: programme, deliverables, ratios
- Supporting the Procurement and Commercial teams
- Business representation at Client/User/Local Authority and other stakeholder meetings
- Manage the Environmental Certification Process i.e. BREEAM
- Manage design transfer from pre-construction to construction
Criteria
- Strong background of main contractor design processes at commercial and construction stages or an architectural background involved on large scale commercial projects
- Knowledge of Planning process and building regulations
- Excellent presentation, communication, management, negotiation skills
- Design or construction qualifications preferred
