Design Technician                            County Down                              £28-35K

Are you a Design Technician, with a knowledge of both mechanical and electrical design and experience with AutoCAD/BIM?

What you Will be Doing:

• Work within the appointed design team to successfully deliver mechanical and electrical design deliverables.
• Work within the agreed design programme and client budget.
• Provide engineering checks including production of checking calculations, details, drawings and schematics to determine accuracy of designs.
• Work with AutoCAD and BIM software to produce designs.
• Track and manage the design deliverables.
• Attended design team meetings whenever required.
• Receive and review the deliverables of projects and requirements of clients.
• Take ownership over the design and development of design projects.
• Design mechanical and electrical aspects of different projects.

What you Will Need:

• Degree or degree equivalent in mechanical and electrical engineering, or relevant.
• 2+ years’ experience in a similar design role.
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD and BIM software.
• Mechanical and Electrical background.
• Be commercially aware, detail orientated and strive for continuous improvement.
• Ability to work effectively and contribute well in a team setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skill.
• Highly organised individual.
• Ability to work within strict deadlines.
