E&I Technician - Dublin

E&I Technician                    West Dublin              

My client is looking for an E&I Technician at their site based in West Dublin a permanent basis. You will be required to respond to planned and reactive maintenance to maintain the asset reliability and to ensure conformance with all statutory, mandatory and regulatory bodies.

Duties Include:

• Be involved in a range of Reactive, Preventative and Predictive Maintenance as required.
• You will propose improvements in maintenance job plans & procedures in keeping with known standards of quality, safety and hygiene for reliable and consistent operation.
• Trouble shooting and problem analysis are essential skills. You will work closely with production areas so you will need to demonstrate an ability to communicate effectively to ensure that daily goals are achieved.
• Flow meter commissioning, repairs, and calibrations.
• Telemetry equipment such as install or debug of UHF Radio, Data Loggers and Routers.
• Handle minor electrical maintenance and installations.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Have an in-depth knowledge of engineering systems, equipment & procedures.
• Knowledgeable in overall plant systems and interactions of processes with experience as a E&I Technician.
• Attitude to develop, follow & continuously improve checklists, procedures and processes.
• Maintain first line defect identification & elimination through use of effective problem-solving techniques as a member of the E&I technician team/ maintenance team.
• Read & interpret manufacturers’ drawings & manuals to develop and generate test / maintenance procedures.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work on your own and within a team environment.
