Inform3 are recruiting an intermediate Environmental Health & Safety Officer for a leading Main Contractor with almost 100 years’ experience working on quality projects in Ireland. Currently working on projects of up to €70m in value and are known for working with high profile clients in the commercial and industrial sector.
Job Title: Intermediate EHS Advisor
Job Location: Dublin
Salary: €45k-€55k
Sector: Industrial/Commercial
The Role
- Develop Site Construction Stage plans, traffic management, waste management, etc. with the project team and monitor their implementation.
- Ensure EHS advisors, Site Managers and Supervisors are actively engaged in the audit process and all EHS management systems across the project.
- Ensure all internal and external EHS reporting requirements are adhered to.
- Conduct accident/incident investigations in a timely manner with the support of the project team, making recommendations to management in respect of these.
- Compile weekly and monthly data as required, communicate the information to project teams, key stakeholders and partners.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of a Level 7 qualification in Health and Safety
- Experience in a similar role, in Ireland
- Knowledge of the industrial/commercial construction sector in Ireland
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, PowerPoint), and a general competence in using new technologies (Mobile Apps etc)
- Full driving licence
