Role: Electrical Commissioning Engineer

Our ever-expanding client based in County Kildare currently require a Electrical Commissioning Engineer to join their team working alongside the Contracts team covering the Leinster Region.
Our client operates across Ireland, UK and Europe and are widely recognised for their end-to-end service providing expertise for the sector they specialise in and the technologies that they use to improve on a day-to-day basis.
Duties Include:
- Review electrical engineering drawings.
- Electrical control system installation.
- Electrical control systems commissioning & testing.
- Retrieve information to complete drawing, layout and design including technical specifications.
- Understanding of PLC based automation & SCADA systems for the sector.
- Develop best practice working procedures to support E&I developments.
- Create and maintain formal documents.
- Check standard and regulatory compliance.
Requirements:
- 5+ years’ experience working as an Electrical/Commissioning Engineer.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience in Instrumentation/Automation/SCADA/PLC’s.
- Experience in water/wastewater would be beneficial.
- Electrical control systems knowledge & electrical fault finding
- Excellent communication skills.
- Able to work well in a high-pressure environment with continuous changes
- Creativity and strong analytical skills to solve complex technical challenges with innovative solutions
