Electrical Contracts Manager Dublin €100k
A highly regarded and well-known company based in Dublin is recruiting for a Contracts Manager with extensive experience in the electrical sector to take a key role within their team, assuming responsibility for the delivery of complex and large-scale projects within the Transmission & Distribution sectors.
You will be developing and implementing project strategy and delivery programmes, ensuring effective communication and implementation to deliver projects on time, ensure regular monitoring and reporting on progress, and instigate corrective actions as required.
Responsibilities
- Provide overall site management, coordination, planning, specification of business proposals and coordination of subcontractors
- Ownership of the delivery of Electrical projects to time, quality and budget constraints
- Prepare reports, specifications and technical analysis analysis to fully define the design requirements, equipment and services required
- Coordinating electrical design
- Reviewing project scope and ensuring the schedule and budgets are effectively managed
- Driving improvement through constant review and analysis
- Ensuring all stakeholders are kept up to date with progress
- Stakeholder Management
- Ensure that contracts are fit for purpose, cost-effective and incorporate appropriate Service Level Agreements
Core Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Contracts Manager in the Electrical Sector
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or Construction Management
- Experience delivering transmission & power projects
- Ability to lead, motivate and manage a team
- Project Management experience from design phase through implementation and operation
- Experience negotiating construction, procurement and labour contracts
- Controlling costs, timing and quality in line with targets.
- Able to read and accurately interpret contract documents, programmes, drawings and technical specifications.
