Electrical Contracts Manager Belfast £60-65k+package
Our client is recruiting for an Electrical Contracts Manager to join their team after winning a number of new projects.
In this role, the contracts manager will be responsible for end-to-end management of designated works from initial client contact through to installation. The ideal candidate will have progressed through to a contracts/project management position from an electrical trades background.
This role will be mostly office based with occasional site visits nationwide.
Responsibilities
- Deliver multiple projects simultaneously within agreed scope, schedule, budget while delivery a great quality product to our customers.
- Create project initiation documentation, project budgets, project programs and relevant H&S documentation.
- Stakeholder management, supporting clients and stakeholders with permit and licence applications.
- Ensuring full compliance to all relevant statutory and regulatory guidance standards
- Providing weekly reports for meetings with managers and stakeholders
- Develop a good working relationship with contractors
- Contract supervision including issuing purchase orders, verifying variation requests and processing payments
Requirements
- 3+ years as an Electrical Contracts Manager
- Strong background managing electrical projects for an M&E or electrical contractor
- Comfortable working to meet tight deadlines whilst balancing multiple priorities and projects
- Varied knowledge of electrical systems including EV Chargers and renewable energy technologies
- Able to work with a range of stakeholders both internal and external
- Excellent written communication
- Good IT skills especially with MS office software
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts
