Electrical Contracts Manager
An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone looking at forwarding their career as a MEP Contracts Manager, this is the chance to join a well-established Electrical Contractor based in Dublin.
The company prides itself on providing an efficient, proactive team. The successful candidate will be based out of the head office reporting directly to a Senior Director. This is a great chance to grow and learn within a committed trusted environment. Allied to design and build, including installation to fit-out, they have a strong client affiliation.
Role & Responsibilities
- You will have overall responsibility for the successful project delivery.
- Sub-contractor’s monthly valuations and monitoring of overall project costs against the tender.
- You will be expected to support our design and CAD department with general design issues, as well as being able to co-ordinate the Mechanical services where necessary. This will also include the production of Technical Submittals, RFI’s and other information flow between the design team. You will also need to ensure that all site labour, sub-contractors and visitors have the proper PPE and are adhering to uniform policy.
- Taking the Project from the estimating team via a project hand over.
- You will be expected to manage our project engineers, supervisors, supply chain and sub-contractors with regard to performance, information flow, procurement, programme monitoring and quality of workmanship, health and safety and O&M information.
- You will be expected to manage all financial aspects of your projects including cost control, pricing of variations, production of monthly applications with supporting cost plans, agreeing
- Review of the Scope, be actively involved in the production of presentation documents where required.
Individual requirements
- HNC/HND Qualified / Trade background Mechanical or Electrical or degree educated
- 5+ years experienced at a senior PM/CM level
- Excellent Project Management skills and Design experience
