Electrical Design Consultant / Engineer
Due to Company expansion, Rightpath are looking for an Electrical Design Consultant.
You will be joining a fantastic company with state-of-the-art facilities and incredible plans for the future. The successful candidate must be someone who will invest in the team, will be passionate about their job and wants to be part of the company's journey.
Duties:
- Designing and modifying electrical system layouts
- Utilise technical knowledge to liaise closely with customers, manufacture, sales, accounts and purchasing.
- Producing bills of materials and quantities for projects.
- Working to tight deadlines, customer specifications and quality standards.
- Using AutoCAD ELECTRICAL, SEE Electrical or a similar design package.
- Develop and advance existing designs for continuous improvement.
- Compiling job files containing required drawings and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Third level qualified in electrical engineering or related discipline is desirable, however candidates without a 3rd level qualification but with significant electrical and mechanical engineering skills and experience will be considered
Key Skills:
- AutoCAD ELECTRICAL, SEE Electrical or a similar design package experience.
- Designing with minimum wastage and lean principles in mind.
- Good electrical knowledge.
- Good knowledge and understanding of IEE regulations BS 7671.
