Electrical Design Engineer                                          Galway                                                  €45-55K   

A leading company working within the Automation Industry are currently looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to support in the development of company projects based in Galway.

They are looking for a self-motivated, conscientious and talented individual to join and contribute to a team of design engineers within the business. The candidate should be electrically biased with good knowledge of the industry.

Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Produce electrical designs for company projects.
  • Work with the design team to successfully deliver the electrical design deliverables.
  • Receive and review the deliverables of projects and requirements of clients.
  • Oversee the process of design from early stages to implementation.
  • Liaise with company clients and suppliers in order to meet requirements of the project.
  • Track and manage design deliverables.
  • Work alongside other teams within the business in order to develop projects.
  • Optimise electrical design solutions to support the company’s portfolio and projects.
  • Complete work to agreed timescales, programme and budgetary constraints.
  • Work with colleagues of various disciplines to prepare detailed electrical designs for projects in line with the client’s requirements.

Experience and Knowledge:

The successful individual should hold a minimum of HNC level qualification that is relevant to the job and should have 3+ years’ experience in a similar role. The candidate should also ideally have experience and knowledge of the automation industry.
