Electrical Design Engineer                            Co. Cork                             €40-50K

INFORM3 are currently on the lookout for an Electrical Design Engineer to join a leading clients team based in County Cork that specialise in Automation Product Designs worldwide and are widely recognised for their dedication to contributing customer satisfaction within the Manufacturing Industry.  

This opportunity will be based in County Cork but may require some remote travelling depending on the requirements needed.

Main Duties:

• You will report to the Engineering Manager of all enquiries related to the Designing and Installation Engineering and Automation projects.
• You will communication and engage with clients in regards to their projects and understand their requirements.
• Understand the requirements of electrical components and equipment all involved within ATEX environment.
• Help with the creation of all related ATEX electrical design and provide all documentation that is required.
• Implementing the use of Robotics and Hydraulic/Pneumatic systems.
• Provide all relevant documentation to customers for any operations and maintenance that may be required on the systems.
• Responsible for the supervision and control of the installation and commissioning stages.
• Adhere and carry out Health & Safety procedures and implement them on a daily basis.
• Work with all key vendors both nationally and internationally to ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

• 4+ years experienced or Degree Equivalent in Engineering.
• Electrical and Automation knowledge essential.
• Strong foundation of PLC systems.
• Understanding of developing electrical drawings software.
• Experience working within an ATEX environment.
• Understanding and Knowledge of working within a Manufacturing Industry.
• Excellent Organisation and communication skills.
• Ability to work within a team environment.
