Electrical Engineer     Co. Down      £30-35k

This role is suited to someone who has a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the electrical engineering industry, ability to learn on the job and work within a great team that strive for improvement.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• The ability to read and interpret circuit and wiring diagrams.
• Collaborate with other electricians and to maintain records any deviations.
• Maintaining quality inspections and ensuring the power components of the device are wired and working effectively.
• Assist in the company’s safety efforts in order to maintain an effective level of health & safety.
• Ability to select relevant components to build from the drawings provided.
• To be able to use hand and power tools in accordance with Health & Safety procedures.
• Testing and running of the control panels.

Essential Criteria:

• Minimum 2 years x experience building electrical control panels
• Degree/HND certified in a relevant subject
• Experience of working in a fast paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with little supervision.
• Experience in engineering and manufacturing.
• Ability to plan, draw and problem solve effectively.
