Electrical Engineer Belfast £30-40K
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Engineer to join a leading Contractor to design and deliver Energy & Renewables projects throughout Northern Ireland.
For this role our client is looking for a hands-on and focused electrical engineer who can be involved in the full lifecycle of electrical projects from design through to installation.
Role & Responsibilities
- Fulfil electrical design and installation work as required, working to project deadlines.
- Ensure the correct installation and commissioning for electrical elements, ensuring that all work is completed to the relevant professional and statutory standards.
- Provide technical assistance to the wider team ensuring design and installations meet standards and comply with the quality policies
- Communicate with clients to ensure your designs coordinate with standards and meet the technical requirements.
- Have a good understanding of electrical drawings, project design and schematics
- Observe the company’s Health & Safety policy requirements
Knowledge & Skills
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services
- Minimum 2 years of Electrical Design/installation experience
- Competent in the design and specification of electrical building services in a variety of industry and project types, sizes and complexity including electrical power systems design, control systems, and building systems design
- Experience delivering Energy and Renewables projects
- Have a good attention to detail
- Ambitious and able to work to their own initiative
