Role Overview:

Our client here at Inform3 who are based in Co. Sligo are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their growing engineering team.

This role is ideal for a motivated engineer with a strong background in electrical design and project delivery.  This is an innovative role requiring pioneering thinking, inventive design, problem resolution so to bring projects from concept through to completion.

This role will require travel across Ireland and overseas where you will be working on diverse and challenging projects with opportunities for professional development and progression.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce and review electrical designs, drawings, and technical documentation.
  • Use engineering software packages, preferably SolidWorks, to support project design and development.
  • Coordinate with teams, clients, and external contractors to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time and in compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Assist with project planning, scheduling and progress reporting.
  • To design and implement hardware components for the use of substations.
  • Ensure that you deal with customer problems and provide them with any assiatance that is required.
  • Coordinate with the manufacturing team on a day-to-day basis to help improve and reduce the cost of manufacture.

 

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree or Equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
  • 3+ years’ experience working as an Electrical Engineer.
  • Proven experience contributing to or managing projects through to completion.
  • Experience using engineering software, ideally SolidWorks.
  • Strong technical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Experience leading or coordinating engineering projects.
  • Exposure to client-facing roles or cross-functional collaboration.
