Electrical Design Manager WFH/Cork €85-90k
A leading company based in Cork is recruiting for an Electrical Design Manager to play a lead role in the design and delivery of new projects for their expanding client base.
Using your excellent technical and team leadership skills, you will be leading a team producing designs and associated deliverables, and overseeing projects to hand over.
Responsibilities
- Leading a multi-disciplined design team
- Producing designs across the full design lifecycle
- Responsible for the technical and engineering aspects of projects
- Ensure that the project’s technical and performance requirements are flowed down into the relevant work packages and validated during the commissioning and testing phase
- Coordinating all design and engineering activities between the relevant stakeholders
- Manage design reviews
- Mentor and develop the design team.
What you will need
- Degree in Electrical Engineering/Building Services
- At least 8 years of experience in similar roles
- Proven experience leading a team
- HM/MV Design experience
- Ability to work across the full project lifecycle, from initial development through detailed design, procurement and installation and on to commissioning and handover
- A flexible self-starter with a passion for working in a team delivering successful projects
- Excellent technical report writing skills.
