Electrical Engineer/Panel Builder Co. Antrim £26-30K
Our client based in County Antrim has an immediate requirement to recruit an electrical engineer with 2+ years experience assembling and building Control Panels & Switchboards
In this role you will be given an array of progression opportunities geared towards making you an expert in the specified field and working towards becoming a multi skilled engineer delivering market leading work to their expanding client base. This role will be mostly workshop based with occasional travel to site.
Responsibilities of the role:
- Electrical wiring and control panel building.
- Installation of electrical components.
- Reading and interpreting drawings, following detailed build procedure documents.
- Assembly of control boxes, back plates and control panel doors.
- Using tools relating to the drawings and the panels.
- Perform material handling functions.
- Installation of switchboard functions.
Experience:
- Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential, within the electrical engineering area or similar.
- Previous electrical assembly experience within a relative background.
- Pervious wiring experience.
- Previous experience of reading and following electrical drawings.
- Previous experience of switchboard functions.
Skills:
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and diagrams.
- Ability to work off own initiative.
- Quality focused.
- Attention to detail.
- Hardworking and ability to work under pressure.
- Self-motivated.
