Electrical Estimator County Antrim £40-45K
INFORM3 are recruiting for an Electrical biased Estimator for our client based in County Antrim to be responsible for estimating the costs of planned projects taking into account materials, labour, logistics and equipment required.
The ideal candidate will come from an Electrical background and able to confidentially put together cohesive and professional electrical tender submissions and assist in developing detailed written methodology documents.
Role as an Estimator:
- Analysing project documentation in order to estimate costs for a contract project in terms of the electrical aspect.
- Maintaining a good working relationship with customers, contractors and suppliers.
- Responsibility of generating competitive, profitable tenders for authorisation and submission.
- Proactive in terms of estimating accurate and auditable costings.
- Responsible for the delivery of fully costed and detailed electrical pricing in response to client specifications.
- Provide support to other members within the team.
- Liaise with operations staff to ensure a complete solution is put forward against the specific requirements.
- Be a part of the commercial team, focus on driving efficiencies, managing costings and preparing the financial bid for submission.
Ideal Candidate will have:
- Electrical related degree or degree equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Ideally from an electrical background.
- Efficient and accurate with good attention to detail.
- Ability to manage own workload.
- Strong communication skills.
- Numeric literacy.
- Ability to form good work relationships.
