Electrical Estimator North Dublin €45-55K
An exciting new opportunity has arisen with a leading company based close to Swords who have an immediate requirement to employ a talented Estimator with an Electrical background to join their team.
The successful individual will have 2+ years relevant experience in a similar role, with a strong commercial and electrical background, ideally with a degree level qualification relating to estimating or electrical engineering.
The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Liaise with clients in relation to their specification, making sure to hit all of the criteria.
- Be responsible for the delivery of fully costed and detailed electrical pricing, in relation to the clients’ requirements.
- Negotiate with multiple suppliers and subcontractors to produce competitive tenders.
- Be responsible for estimating on a broad range of projects.
- Control and organise tender documentation.
- Obtain competitive and accurate quotations in relation to the electrical side of the projects.
- Identify potential risks/opportunities within the scope of enquires received.
- Develop good working relationships with client, consultants and electrical designers.
- Focus on driving efficiencies, managing costings and preparing the financial bid for submission.
- Contribute to and be a part of the commercial team.
- Liaise with operations staff to ensure a complete solution is put forward against the specific requirements.
Personal Specification:
- 2 Years Estimating experience within an M&E Environment
- Degree level certification
- Good planning and organisational skills.
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to work to own initiative.
- Self-motivated.
- Dynamic team player and contributor.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good problem-solving skills.
