Electrical Estimator South County Down £30-40K
A leading company based in South County Down is looking for an Electrical Estimator to join their ever-expanding business. They are looking for a self-motivated individual with good communication skills to jump on board and work in a team environment in order to aid the business in achieving their ambitious goals.
Job Description:
The job will require the individual to work closely with company clients and be able to produce tenders for varying sized projects. The candidate would be required to not only estimate projects but also see the project through until completion, whilst building good relationships with the functional teams and clients.
Responsibilities of the Role:
- Prepare accurate cost and sales estimates for projects to a consistent and competitive level.
- Create a fully detailed tender based on performance specification and project details.
- Ensure all tenders are priced accurately to make sure the company remains competitive within the market.
- Assist with the tender process.
- Produce daily progress reports to the rest of the team.
- Carrying out initial estimations of each project, such as accurately quantifying material, plant and labour costs.
- Base tenders off accurate client requirements and estimations.
- Liaise and meet with clients to understand their requirements, budget and expectations and provide the most appropriate solutions to meet their needs.

Experience and Knowledge:
The successful individual should hold a degree level/ HND/HNC qualification in a relevant field with a good level of experience working for at least 2-3 years in a similar role. A good understanding of electrical engineering and electrical installations is required.
