Electrical Estimator County Armagh £35-50k
INFORM3 are recruiting for an experienced Electrical Estimator for our client based in County Armagh who is able to put together professional and cohesive tenders for a variety of projects across a number of different sectors.
The successful individual will have 4+ years relevant experience in a similar role, with a strong commercial and electrical background, ideally with a degree level qualification relating to estimating or electrical engineering.
Responsibilities:
- To be involved with the complete cycle of the tender process
- Assist in developing detailed written methodology documents.
- Read and understand specifications and drawings for future and current projects
- Build relationships with preferred and specified suppliers
- Request quotations and build up tender proposals that are compliant with requirements provided by clients.
- Identify and communicate any technical and business risks associated with a project
- Proactively look for cost savings
Requirements:
- 4+ years commercial Electrical Estimating experience
- Good Industry sector knowledge of clients & material suppliers.
- Electrical background
- Commercially focused, understand from a financial perspective any risks inherent within a job
- Ability to confidently present tender proposals
- Have a good understanding and knowledge working with Excel and Outlook
