Electrical Estimator Derry/Londonderry £35-55k
INFORM3 is recruiting Electrical Estimators for our client based in Derry/Londonderry able to put together professional and cohesive tenders for a variety of projects across a number of different sectors.
The successful individual will have 3+ years of relevant experience in a similar role, with a strong commercial and electrical background in the engineering or manufacturing sector.
Responsibilities:
- To be involved with the complete cycle of the tender process
- Assist in developing detailed written methodology documents.
- Read and understand specifications and drawings for future and current projects
- Build relationships with preferred and specified suppliers
- Request quotations and build up tender proposals that are compliant with requirements provided by clients.
- Identify and communicate any technical and business risks associated with a project
- Proactively look for cost savings
Requirements:
- 3+ years of commercial Electrical Estimating experience
- Good Industry sector knowledge of clients & material suppliers.
- Understanding of the techniques and methodologies for the installation of electrical, switchgear and control systems
- Commercially focused, understand from a financial perspective any risks inherent within a job
- Ability to confidently present tender proposals
- Have a good understanding and knowledge of Excel and Outlook
