Electrical Estimator Manchester £35-40K
INFORM3 Recruitment are actively recruiting for an Electrical Estimator for a fast-growing construction company in the Manchester area. The estimator role will require the candidate to complete electrical tenders for their designated project. They will oversee their tenders through all stages of the project to keep them as competitive and valuable as possible.
The ideal Electrical Estimator will have previous 3 years’ experience in electrical estimating, have knowledge of the building services sector and possesses the ability to follow through on their actions independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrable ability to analyse drawings, specifications, proposals and other documentations to prepare time, product, cost and labour estimates using specialised methodologies
- To assist and advise the Senior Management Team on commercial influences and risks around any bids
- Responsible for prioritising workload and supporting the team to produce results in a timely manner to meet business need
- Providing quotations from the specification
- Identifying value engineering solutions to create a commercial advantage over competitors
Skills and Qualities
- Relevant qualifications or experience in an electrical background
- Background of working on commercial projects
- Can work on a diverse portfolio of projects
- Has to be able to work within a multidisciplinary team
- Has worked on project from pre-design to build
- Great eye for detail
