Job Title: Electrical Estimator

Our Client is a leading Irish Main Electrical Contractor operating in the construction, engineering, and technology industries. With over 50 years of experience, Our Client delivers complex engineering projects across a range of sectors including Data Centres, Life Sciences, Industrial Manufacturing, and Commercial.
Role Description:
As an Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive tenders for a range of electrical engineering projects. You will work closely with the commercial and design teams to ensure that all tenders are completed to a high standard and delivered on time.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and competitive tenders for a range of electrical engineering projects across various sectors.
- Work with the design team to identify project requirements and ensure the tender is compliant with specifications.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and suppliers to ensure the best possible pricing and terms are achieved.
- Attend site visits and meetings to gather information and assess the scope of the project.
- Identify potential risks and opportunities and work with the team to develop strategies to mitigate risks and maximize opportunities.
- Work closely with the commercial team to ensure the tender is competitive and profitable.
- Manage the tender process from start to finish, including the preparation of all documentation and submission of tenders.
Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- Experience in electrical estimating within the construction or engineering industry.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proficient in the use of estimating software.
- Full driving license.
