Job Title – Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Job Location – Co. Armagh

Salary – £38K - £42K Plus Overtime

 

About the Company:

We are currently recruiting an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our client’s company within the manufacturing industry based in County Armagh.

You will be responsible for preforming planned maintenance, routines and reactive repairs on a range of electrical installations and manufacturing equipment as well as equipment installation and working to contribute to continuous improvement.

Duties Include:

  • Carry out routine Preventative, planned and reactive maintenance.
  • Respond to any breakdowns and ensure that maintenance and corrective works are completed safely and in a timely manner.
  • Be proactive in reporting faults following PPM.
  • Installation of new equipment and machinery
  • To undertake minor electrical installations work in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Sourcing parts to meet business needs and maintaining appropriate stock levels.
  • Ensure that all Health & Safety requirements are met and are within a safe working environment and are followed at all times.
  • Appropriately use hand tools, equipment and machinery for any repairs or minor details for improvement.
  • To work closely with all staff to ensure everything runs effectively of the machinery and equipment to ensure there is improvements all over.
  • Ensure all documentation is filled out in real time and accurately.

 

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Degree or equivalent of 4+ years as an Electrician.
  • Experience within the Manufacturing Industry.
  • Qualification in an Electrical Industry.
  • Understanding of Planned Preventative Maintenance systems.
  • Ability to demonstrate problem solving skills.
  • Knowledge and understanding of electrical drawings
  • Good working knowledge of PLC and industrial controls, drives, robotics automation.
  • Have proven ability to work within a team environment.
  • Excellent Communication Skills.
