Maintenance Technician                                   County Monaghan                                         €35-40k

Are you a Maintenance Technician with excellent Electrical knowledge looking to develop further in your career and join an innovative and forward-thinking business? If so, keep reading!

A successful company based in County Monaghan have now got an exciting opportunity for an individual to join their team. They are looking for a candidate with at least 2 years’ experience to help with their ever-growing requirement for electrical work.

Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Delivery and execution of maintenance work, renewals work, supervision and relevant technical approval.
  • Provide first line quality electrical and mechanical maintenance and repairs for the company.
  • Completion of inspections, self-assurance checks and quality checks.
  • Carry out reactive repairs to electrical systems and equipment.
  • Follow drawings and carry out installation work on the relevant systems.
  • Maintain a safe working environment as per the Health and Safety rules and regulations.
  • Deliver maintenance deployment plans and completion of documents as required.
  • Support technical analysis, troubleshooting, root cause analysis and auditing to deliver a safe, operable and reliable environment.
  • Carry out preventative works to reduce future costs for the business.
  • Ensure all maintenance is carried out in a professional and efficient manner.

Experience and Skills Required for the Role:

  • Qualified electrician
  • 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Experience of working alongside other engineering functions.
  • Have a full Driving License.
  • Good knowledge of maintenance methods.
  • Knowledge of legislation, safety and standards.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good decision making and analytical skills.
  • Established risk management skills.
  • Ability to identify and solve problems.
